Kurosawa (クロサワ), real name Yoshimasa Kuroda (黒田 善正, Kuroda Yoshimasa), is one of the leaders of Tanpopo and a member of the Nijibana Rainbow Flowers who is second among the Nijibana's in Hazakura efficiency being at 501%.

Appearance

Kurosawa is completely black all over, with eyes with a purple iris and no pupil. His hair is black and is styled upwards, he also wears an earring on his left ear. He seeming has no mouth. He only wears shorts, so he is topless and barefoot. His Tanpopo tattoo is located on his right hip, colored white.

Personality

Kurosawa has shown to have an energetic fun-loving personality. Despite his inability to speak Kurosawa has shown to enjoy playing and messing around, as he dances, plays with instruments, plays with Ai and messes with Kawashita by putting stuff in his hair. Even when attacking Taiyo he shows his personality by winking at him.

Kurosawa is seen to have no emotion towards death, lacking any fear of it nor emotion towards his or other peoples deaths. As a result of this he is quick to kill people without second thought. It is mentioned that he is as col and unfeeling as iron and kills people as if he's swatting flies.

History

Kurosawa used to be a condemned criminal who committed several murders throughout his life. His first offence was at the age of 15 where he beat his friend to death when he lost to them in a game. At age 21 he strangled a clerk who he got into an argument with. At age 24 he killed his next-door neighbour and ten others due to a noise disturbance and was arrested on a series of charges. He was given the death penalty immediately, which he seemed nonchalant about.

His apathy towards death made him an interesting person in the eyes of Kawashita who was abe to gain custody of him using backroom deals and plea bargaining. Kawashita then used his body in countless grotesque surgical experiments to create a metallic body, despite all this Kurosawa's mental state didn't change.

During Akai's family's arson attack, Kurosawa was there alongside Kawashita to save her.

Plot

Kurosawa alongside Akai, Aonuma and Cha-Cha arrived at Skeleton Island to meet with Kawashita. They all arrived carrying large baskets of vegetables. Kawashita asks him how he's doing, he responds using sign language, however he does it so fast that Kawashita could not understand him. Afterwards they all get treated to a vegetable hot pot before they prepare for their mission.

On the day of the Seed-Sowing Project Kurosawa is seen enjoying the celebration, dancing, playing music, chasing Ai and messing with Kawashita's hair.

When the Yozakura family invades Skull Island, Kurosawa ambushes them as they run through a corridor. The group, however, is able to evade or repel his attacks. While the others continue their mission, Shinzo Yozakura stays behind to fend off Kurosawa who is unfazed by Shinzo's attacks.

Abilities and Skills

Black Shadow Stone (Kokuinseki, 黒陰石) - Kurosawa is made up of an organic alloy that changes shape using electric shocks to the surrounding muscles.

• Malleable body: He is also seen to be able to mould himself like a liquid, able to slice through people with ease.
• Metallic Structure: Kurosawa's body is made up of metallic cells, as a result his body is made of a hard metal.
• Body Separation: Kurosawa is able to separate his body into multiple parts.
• Shape-shifting: Kurosawa is able to change the shape of his body freely, able to make blades from his body.

Real Name

• The name Yoshimasa means "right, virtue/virtuous, good/goodness" (善) (yoshi) and "right, proper" (正) (masa).
• Yoshimasa's surname Kuroda means "black" (黒) (kuro) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).

• Kurosawa's real name Yoshimasa Kuroda shares the same last name as Kurogao's alias Yoshimasa Kuroyuri.
