Kyoichiro Yozakura (夜桜 凶一郎, Yozakura Kyōichirō) is the first child and the eldest son in the Yozakura Family's 10th generation.

 Appearance

Kyoichiro is a remarkably tall man with fair skin, and black eyes. He has short glossy-like black hair that is parted to the side with some pointed ends, with a few stray hairs. He is always seen with his eyes closed and an iconic smirk.

He is always seen wearing a black suit and tie with a white shirt on the inside as well as black gloves. His black gloves are to hide his hands which are covered in scars.

After the time-skip Kyoichiro now slicks back his hair still with a side parting, with a lose strand at the front. He also wears a large dark overcoat over his suit and have a bowler hat that he wears occasionally..

Personality

Kyoichiro is obsessed with his little sister Mutsumi, practically being a stalker, and would do anything in order to protect her. His methods include threats and blackmail to even torture and murder; especially if those people are boys. He is also very affectionate towards her, often trying to spend time with her and being overly caring and doting.

Due to his behavior, Kyochiro is considered extremely creepy and annoying by many people (even by his own family) and was even nominated in Weekly Spy as "The Spy I Would Want to Kill Most!".

Kyoichiro also has an intense dislike towards Mutsumi's husband, Taiyo Asano, and wishes to get rid of him by all means necessary, even ordering a "Easy to Understand Encyclopedia of Torture" to do so. However, despite his quirks and oddities, Kyoichiro is still a reliable person and will protect all of his loved ones, irrespective of whether he may die in the progress, as he once promised Taiyo that he will save him even if it kills him. His tolerance, acknowledgement and acceptance of him eventually came full circle, as he protects him as 'Mutsumi's husband'.

He is extremely susceptible to kids due to his older brother instincts. Once, he completely malfunctioned after witnessing baby Taiyo, causing him to just stand on one spot as if he was dead. Another time, he collapsed on the floor after failing to decide a gift for Ai.

Even as a child, Kyoichiro is extremely perceptive and caring. He would use every opportunity to genuinely praise his siblings. When he was turned into a child, he referred to Taiyo as Big Brother, and was proud that 'little Mutsumi' had already gotten a husband. He voiced his own insecurities that his protective nature would cause everyone to hate him after seeing how they acted around him, but Taiyo assured him that he is the reliable big brother everybody looks up to.

History

During his childhood, Kyoichiro at some point attended Teiou Academy and had befriended the academy's guard shark Leviathan after numerous battles with it.

Kyoichiro took his first spy exam at the age of 6. The other participants mocked him for being so young, but he ended up making them all drop out by force. This lead him to become the only person to pass the exam that year, with that year having the lowest number of passed participants at the time. Kyoichiro ended up receiving a bronze license from that.

As he grew up, he trained daily with his father and took part in many missions.

Since Kyoichiro was a child, he had always been very fond all his siblings, especially his little sister Mutsumi as she was the heir to the family. This also meant he was quite protective of her too, not wanting other boys to get close to her, causing Futaba to always reprimand him for being too controlling.

4 years ago, Mutsumi and Rei Yozakura were kidnapped by Tanpopo. The Yozakura siblings managed to locate where they where and attack the hideout, Kyoichiro managed to locate Mutsumi and Rei's bodies and found out that Momo Yozakura was the one who kidnapped them. After finding out Momo was the cause of it, Kyoichiro began to rage, which resulted in the awakening of his blooming but before he could use it, Momo had left.

As Kyoichiro walked away with Mutsumi, he vowed to ensure no harm ever comes to her again. After Mutsumi's kidnapping and his father's seeming betrayal, Kyoichiro became a lot more twisted in his protection of Mutsumi. His methods became a lot more drastic and violent to the extent that he became over-controlling of her and dictated her every action.

Skills & Abilities

Overall Capabilities: As the oldest son of the Yozakura Family, Kyoichiro is extremely powerful and is one of the top spies in the world. As a member of the Yozakura Family Kyoichiro has trained and honed his skills in many missions fighting against several difference foes since childhood. He is considered an all-rounder type, and is shown to be the most versatile member of the family. He was able to easily fend off all of his other siblings whilst they protected Taiyo. His father has stated that Kyoichiro is far stronger than he could even dreamed of when he was at his age. As a Yozakura Family member possessing the someinine blood, Kyoichiro's physical abilities are also stronger than any normal humans.

• Poison Immunity: Due to his Yozakura blood and years of intense training since childhood, Kyoichiro is virtually impervious to poison. There is only a single toxin which is capable of working on him, that being from the "Blight Spider", but its effects are short and minimal despite it usually being able to completely numb all of a person's limbs.
• Unihemisphere Functionality: Through special training, Kyoichiro is capable of controlling his brain to understand and function with only a single hemispheres as well as enabling him to sleep without actually sleeping, not unlike a dolphin or a whale.

Blooming - Void: By soaking the threads of his Steel Spider in his Someinine-rich blood, Kyoichiro's threads will grow infinitely and slowly engulfs his enemies. Anything that gets swallowed by this ever-expanding threads will be sliced piece by piece into tiny bits until it dissolves into nought.

True Spring Blooming - Life: It uses the complimentary side of Void by directing damage inwards instead of outwards. However, repeated use of this ability is very draining so it must only be used once, otherwise his life is at risk.

Techniques

• Giant Spider Whip (Kumo no Oomuchi): Kyoichiro whips a concentrated amount of wires, which can expand on impact and wrap the target.
• Calm Storm (凪嵐, Nagi Arashi): Kyoichiro creates a super-concentrated circle of wires and pushes it forth, creating a huge shockwave and demolishing everything in its path.
• Box Blow (升吹, Masubuki): Kyoichiro swings his threads in four perpendicular directions in front of him, creating a square shape from the slashes' intersection and leaving everything within the "box" intact.
• Speckled (斑, Madara): Kyoichiro's threads create a wall of threads in square shapes.
• Arachne - Goddess's Web (女神の巣(あらくね), Arakune): A shield woven from hundreds of small threads that are barely visible. This is able to block physical attacks, chemical substances and even sound.
• Thread Gun (糸鉄砲, Itodeppō): Kyoichiro wraps his threads into a small ball and flicks it at the opponent.
• Black Thread (黒糸, Kokushi): Kyoichiro unravels and spreads his Steel Spider threads all across the area, going unseen by the opponent due to their size and weight. With a single thrust, the threads all become powerful blades, slashing everything in the area.
• Healing Thread (癒糸, Iyashi): Kyoichiro coats his Steel Spider in oil and glides it across the persons entire body loosely wrapped. Making them feel very satisfying and makes the entire body feel great.
• Whirlwind (つむじ, Tsumuji): Kyoichiro swipes his hand, causing many long Steel Spider threads to slash the target. Kyoichiro used this technique to destroy a wall in Tanpopo's Skeleton Island hideout alongside Taiyo's Ascending Waterfall.
• Puppet Child (操童子, Ayatsuri Dōji): Kyoichiro wraps Taiyo's body with his wires. He is able to launch, control and supplement Taiyo's numerous techniques.
• Hollow Cocoon (空繭, Utsumayu): Kyoichiro attaches countless threads throughout his opponents body, opening them up to receive further attacks with the wires coursing inside and holding them in place. Each wire permeates every nook and cranny of the person's cells. It was once used on Taiyo to numb the cells and nerves of Taiyo after they were enhanced by the Profuse Blooming of 10,000 flowers.
• Naraku (奈落): Kyoichiro creates a large black snake out of layers of Steel Spider, able to move freely and attack through bites. This technique is combined with Void, placing it in Naraku's jaws, causing each bite to completely shred anything within it. Naraku is also able to defend Kyoichiro, coiling up into a ball around him to act as a shield.
• Yomi (黄泉): Kyoichiro creates a large black spider of out layers of Steel Spider. He mainly uses this to send clustered threads at a target by extending the legs, allowing them to envelop large objects or quickly surround a target.

Weapons

• Steel Spider: A pair of gloves woven from steel threads, Kyoichiro can weave them into different sizes and shapes. They display incredible tensile strength and cutting ability, as well as being able to form incredibly durable shields. Kyoichiro is later able to weave steel spider into more complex and intricate designs, creating a parachute and an umbrella out of the threads.
• Knives: Kyoichiro is sometimes seen with a medium-sized knife with a curved shape and points on the back of the blade. He usually uses this to try to kill Taiyo.

• The name Kyoichiro means "bad, misfortune, fail, overshoot, fiasco, baffle, calamity, affliction, disaster, catastrophe, cancer, plague, distress, harm, poor crop" (凶) (kyo), "one" (一) (ichi) and "son" (郎) (ro).
  • The kanji "一" refers to him being the first sibling of his generation.
  • He's the only sibling with 3 Kanji characters in his first name, the rest of his siblings only having 2.
• Kyoichiro's perpetually-closed eyes and his weapon of choice being Steel Spider may be a play on the term itome (糸目, lit. "Thread eyes"), which refers to characters who tend to keep their eyes closed.
